Harvest Seasonal Kitchen, a farm-to-table restaurant in McKinney, is relocating from its current spot at 112 E. Louisiana St. to Masonic Lodge property 215 N. Kentucky St. – just three blocks away.

The move will see the restaurant expand to 10,400-square feet and occupy three floors.

Owned by Rick Wells, Harvest opened its doors in September 2014, with the aim to connect diners with its vibrant North Texas food community. Per a statement on its website, Harvest sources almost all of its food from within a 150-mile radius and changes its menu four times a year based on what is seasonally available. The restaurant even features liquor and beer that is almost entirely Texas-made.

Harvest serves lunch, dinner, sweets, wine and cocktails. The menu includes such dishes as pan-roasted red fish, chicken fried steak, pork enchiladas, and a variety of healthful sides.

Wells talked about the relocation with Community Impact, saying, “A couple of years ago I really started wanting to expand Harvest’s footprint. I wanted to enlarge the bar – we had a great beverage program – and I just felt like it needed a bigger space.”

According to Wells, the first floor will seat 80 guests and keep a similar atmosphere to the original Harvest. The second floor will house a kitchen, tasting room, and private dining space for up to 52 guests. The third floor will be known as The Masonic, seat up to 150 guests and also serve as a live music venue.

Harvest is planning to have the move completed by Fall 2022, just in time for its eighth anniversary.
