Van Leeuwen, the popular Brooklyn-based ice cream brand, is opening a scoop shop in Fort Worth.

It is coming to WestBend at 1621 River Run, suite 143 in building C. This will be the brand’s second location to open in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The first opened this past Saturday at 3699 McKinney Ave, suite 101, in West Village in Uptown Dallas.

Van Leeuwen currently has three other Lone Star State locations open in Houston. Other states that either already have or will soon have scoop shops full of goodness include California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Founded as a food truck in 2008 by brothers Ben and Pete Van Leeuwen and Laura O’Neill, the brand has since grown a dedicated following and opened multiple brick-and-mortar locations. Their pints are also available in grocery stores nationwide and online.

Mouthwatering flavors include Brown Sugar Cookie Dough Chunk, Earl Grey Tea, Marionberry Cheesecake, Praline Butter Cake, and over 40 more. Vegan ice cream made with oat milk or cashew milk is also offered.

Van Leeuwen scoop shops serve a full menu of vegan and dairy ice creams, vegan chocolate chip cookies, sundaes and milkshakes.
