Three new salad restaurants are coming soon to cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Salad and Go will open its first location in Addison at 3820 Beltline Rd. Construction on the 920 square foot space will begin in October 2022 and wrap up by the end of the year.
Another Salad and Go location is being planned for Dallas at 4401 Lemmon Ave. It will be a new construction from the ground up of 850 square feet. It is expected to be ready by early 2023.
Founded in 2013, Salad and Go is a fast-growing healthy drive-thru chain out of Arizona that has been opening locations across the DFW area at a pretty rapid pace.
The brand offers fresh, made-to-order, health-conscious items including salads, wraps, soups and drinks for fairly low prices. Customers are given the option to customize their salads with protein such as chicken, tofu, and shrimp. Its menu also features breakfast items including $2.99 burritos and $1 organic cold brew.
Another salad brand, Salata, will open its second Plano location at 1701 Preston Rd. Occupying a space of 2,260 square feet, the salad bar will be a part of the Preston Shepard Place shopping mall. Construction is expected to begin in August and wrap up in November.
Founded in 2005, Salata is headquartered in Houston and offers fully customizable, built-to-order salads, wraps, soups and organic teas and lemonades. All fresh fruits, vegetables and lean proteins are prepared and chopped in-house daily. Guests can choose from five salad bases, more than 50 toppings, and 11 house-made, gluten-free dressings to build meals that fit their lifestyle.

Great job Danita for keeping us informed. I’m so glad I found What Now!
We are really thin on healthy options. It is so good to see these great nutritious restaurants in our area.
