Washington state-based Can Am Pizza is opening a Frisco location by the summer of 2024, franchisee Vineet Sharma confirmed with What Now Dallas.
Sharma said the restaurant is still in the planning and development phase, but should begin construction by mid-January, landing the completion date in mid-May to early June.
“I used to live in Seattle, so my first experience with their pizza was in Washington,” Sharma said. Now a DFW resident, he looks forward to bringing the unique pizzas to the southern state.
“It’s not just Indian pizza, there is Canadian American, Korean, gyros — a lot of different flavors.”
According to the website, the chain first “introduced East Indian flavored pizzas, Tandoori Chicken and Veggie Paneer Pizza. In that year, Can Am Pizza started serving a dipping sauce with every pizza” and eventually “introduced Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer Masala Pizza.”
The multi-cultural options continued to develop from there, and now Can Am has the goal of bringing their flavors to people “in all parts of this world.” Learn more at www.canampizza.com.
