LongHorn Steakhouse is opening a new location at 18995 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The filing outlines plans for a 5,780-square-foot space fitted for the chains classic steakhouse feel.

LongHorn is part of the Darden family of restaurants that also includes Olive Garden, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, Yard House, The Capital Grille, Seaons 52, Bahama Breeze and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood.

LongHorn first opened in 1981, and over the last forty years has served fresh, never frozen steaks, along with chicken, some seafood options, and a wide array of sides at over 590 locations in the U.S.

According to the LongHorn website, the chain is “obsessed with always giving you the steak you deserve,” which begins with high-quality cuts, continues with one-of-a-kind seasoning, and is perfectly cooked by what they call “Grill Masters.”
