Huckleberry’s Breakfast & Lunch is bringing the “bayou” to the Lone Star State with its first ever Texas restaurant. The grand opening of the new Huckleberry’s took place on January 26th, 2024 in Keller, TX.

Open daily from 7am to 3pm, the Huckleberry’s menu features Southern-inspired appetizers and entrées, including Fried Green Tomatoes, Mardi Gras Beignets, Stacked Chicken and Waffles, the Monte Cristo Sandwich and more. With a weeping willow tree in every entrance, walking into Huckleberry’s is like stepping into a Southern bayou – guests are greeted with a warm welcome as Zydeco music fills the air.

“I traveled to California to visit Huckleberry’s Breakfast & Lunch, met a few franchisees and knew right away I wanted to be the first to bring the excitement of this brand to Texas,” said new multi-unit franchisee Josh Calvert in a statement. “The 7am-3pm operating hours, distinct menu and Southern Hospitality made me feel right at home. I am beyond excited to introduce Huckleberry’s to the Metroplex.”

This is just the beginning of Huckleberry’s continued growth in the South. Locals of surrounding cities can look forward to their own backyard “bayou”, as more Texas units are in the works.

“I’m so pleased to get to know Josh and welcome him into our franchise network,” said Greg Graber, CEO of Huckleberry’s parent company Heritage Restaurant Brands. “Our expansion into Texas, my home state, is a significant milestone for the brand and our operating hours will provide him and his team the opportunity to build something special without sacrificing evenings with family.”

Heritage Restaurant Brands (HRB) was founded in 2016. The San Luis Obispo, CA based company is the franchisor of three brands, including 34-unit Huckleberry’s Breakfast & Lunch. The brand plans to open 8-10 units in 2024.
