Docent Steak & Lounge is in the works at 2801 N Harwood St #100 in Dallas later this summer, the website announced.

Docent is the child of Harwood Hospitality Group, the team behind other popular Dallas concepts like NDA, Babou’s, Isabelle’s, Fig & Favor, Tequila Social, Stillwell’s, Poco Fiasco, Dolce Riviera, Elephant East, Happiest Hour, Harwood Arms, Magnolias Sous Le Post, Marie Gabrielle Restaurant Group and Gardens, Mercaat Bistro, St. Ann Restaurant & Bar, Te Deseo, and The Grove.

According to the website, the group aims to bring a “world of culinary experiences with a current collection of eleven concepts in the 19-city-block Harwood District, with more experiences currently in development.” Ultimately their mission is to bring guests the opportunity to “Escape the Ordinary.”

Docent’s website specifically teases a high-end Japanese steakhouse dedicated to showcasing the mastery of Harwood steaks, sushi, and expertly curated wine selection that immerses “guests in the rich heritage of the Samurai without our museum-quality collection.” Learn more at www.docentsteak.com
