A fresh new concept is preparing to help Frisco kick 2025 off to a sweet start. LottieBird’s, the latest innovation from Didi’s Downtown’s Scott Hoffner, is opening in the Rail District early next year, reports Community Impact.
Hoffner will be cooking up crepes in the space at 8981 2nd Street that previously housed Heavenly Donuts. A precise opening date is not yet announced, but Frisco diners won’t have to wait much longer to sample LottieBird’s’ fare; the eatery is aiming for a January opening.
The unique concept will mix culture and cuisine, feeding both imaginations and tummies. Hoffner tells What Now Dallas that LottieBird’s will feature art from StoryPeople alongside whatever delicious innovations capture Hoffner’s fancy.
LottieBird’s, named after Hoffner’s daughters, will serve both sweet and savory crepes, alongside ice cream, coffee, and bagels-Starship Bagels to be precise. Local carb enthusiasts are in for a treat; Hoffner describes Starship’s offerings, saying “I went and did a bagel tasting, and I’m Jewish, so it’s just like heaven on earth. Once I tasted them, I was like, wow, these are off the charts.”
Hoffner is enthusiastic about bringing LottieBird’s to the neighborhood at a time when it is experiencing great growth and development. The creperie is certain to become a community staple, due to its commitment to quality cuisine and warm ambiance. As Hoffner states: “I just feel that this is going to be such a nice addition to our community, a need that needs to be fulfilled. I think it will bring culture to our community.”
