Miriam Cocina Latina Now Open in Cypress Waters

Miriam Cocina Latina opened at The Sound in Cypress Waters, the multi-family and retail waterfront development bordering Dallas and Coppell. Miriam will be open daily from 4pm-9 pm through mid January when the restaurant will extend hours, opening for lunch and weekend brunch.

Known for her infections smile, hugs and eye for detail, Miriam Jimenez and Shannon Wynne opened the original Miriam Cocina Latina in Klyde Warren Park in 2019 to rave reviews. The new Cypress Waters location features playful portraits of Miriam, spacious dining room and climate-controlled patio facing the waterfront and park setting at North Lake..

Open for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch, dishes include the ceviche Punta Cana, empanadas, short rib enchiladas, carne asada, cabrito a la diabla and seafood specialties including the popular pescado a la Veracruzano, an impressive presentation of whole fried red snapper with a traditional Veracruzano sauce.

A cocktail menu showcases a broad selection of margaritas in addition to rum and Mezcal libations, a curated list of white and red wines available by the glass, Mexican and local beers as we all as aquas frescos and non-alcoholic offerings.

This is the fourth concept in Cypress Waters for Shannon Wynne, who also owns and operated Flying Fish, Flying Saucer and Rodeo Goat with partners Larry Richardson and Keith Schlabs.

Reservations are recommended for dine-in and patio seating. Miriam Cocina Latina is located at 3121 Olympus Boulevard. Hours of operation beginning mid January, hours of operations are Sunday-Thursday 11am-9:00pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-10:00pm.
