To the dismay of many, Origins Wine Bar and Wood-fired Pizza announced in early March that it was temporarily closing. But recently there have been signs the shuttering was temporary, with the company hiring at its 500 N Lincoln Ave. location.

In job postings, Origins Wine Bar & Wood Fired Pizza wrote it is “looking to reopen with a simplified menu” and “seeking a new team of FOH and BOH employees to help us continue serving the community in Downtown Loveland.” The brand is searching for bartenders, servers, hosts, cooks, dishwashers, and a kitchen manager.

On March 5, the company shocked and saddened patrons when it announced that it has been plagued with staffing issues since COVID and that no-shows in the kitchen forced them to close indefinitely. The 3,300-square-foot eatery has a bar, cocktail lounge, dining area, wood-fired pizza oven, and private cellar room.

“We hope that this pause in operations will allow us to evaluate our next steps and determine the right path with the limited labor pool in our community,” it posted on social media at the time. “We will put forth our best effort to find a way to continue serving you.”
