A Nebraska-based brewery is coming to Longmont. Bearded Brewer Artisan Ales is opening a location at 1425 S. Airport Rd., and posts from the company on Facebook state the business is moving “closer to opening”.

Bearded Brewer Artisan Ales is a conception by brewer Kirk Hearon and his business partner Brandon Knudsen, who is also the founder of Ziggi’s Coffee. The pair opened an outpost in Omaha a few years ago and have decided to expand to the Front Range.

The business has been active on its Facebook page, updating waiting patrons on the progress of pre-opening. Construction was happening in May, and tanks were delivered to the location in July. In August, the company was granted a manufacturing license, and the brewing process is about ready to begin.

While there is no listed opening date for the location, visitors can expect the same fresh and exciting beers that the company has at the Nebraska location, along with some new ones exclusive to Colorado.
