Southall Farm & Inn located in Franklin, Nashville’s neighboring suburb, first opened its doors to hotel guests in December of 2022. The luxury resort has multiple dining options, including its upcoming Signature Restaurant spearheaded by Executive Chef Andrew Klamar.
The restaurant has been many months in the making. Although an official grand opening date has not yet been formally announced, the Signature Restaurant is expected to open within the next few months, in the summer or fall season, as they near the finish line of the opening process. The address of the restaurant is 2200 Osage Lp.
Al Fresco dining will be a key feature offered, as well as farm-to-table dishes straight from the farm on Southall’s premises. The menu of the Signature Restaurant will be inspired by seasonal, intentional eating with an elevated twist.
“Celebrating the bounty of the farm, our signature restaurant is inextricably linked to the land at Southall. Open exclusively for dinner, it is an expression of time and place, with each meal depending on the season and the ingredients available for harvest. Each course is an exciting journey—a mix of heritage, innovation, and artistry that captivates the senses,” states the Southall website.
Southall also recently announced a sneak preview dining event that will give some insight to the upcoming restaurant, as well as highlight special guests Eric Wareheim and Joel Burt, two organic winemakers from Las Jaras vineyard in Yosemetie, California.
The event will be twofold, taking place on May 23rd for the welcome party and May 24th for the main dinner, according to the Nashville Scene. Guests must buy tickets on Southall’s Resy to join. Expect passed dishes, displayed treats, oysters, caviar, and wood-fired pizzas that Eric will be pulling straight from the pizza oven, states the website.
