According to multiple permits, the international burger chain Shake Shack will soon join the list of incoming retail and restaurant chains at the Tanger Factory Outlet shopping center this fall, some of which include Chipotle, Crumble Cookies, Just Love Coffee Cafe, and locally owned Prince’s Hot Chicken and Red Bicycle Coffee.
The site is expected to finish construction efforts by the fall of 2023, likely September or October, though a more precise timeline is not presently known. Tanger Factory Outlets will have an address of 4060 Cane Ridge Pkwy, near the I-24 in the Century Farms development in Antioch, a nearby Nashville suburb.
The Tanger Factory Outlet Mall in Antioch has been years in the making and has garnered a lot of attention around its construction. Tanger faced multiple building delays due to the Covid-19 virus in 2020, finally broke ground in May 2022, and has recently announced that Sept. 2023 is officially its targeted opening goal, as reported by local news outlet WKRN.
The six-building, 290,000-square-foot open-air outlet shopping center will offer up to 70 tenants, with plans to offer a wide variety of both local and internationally regarded restaurants and retail shopping. It will become the 37th Tanger Factory Outlet Mall in the country, according to a news release from the company.
Shake Shack is known for their crinkle-cut fries, milkshakes, and Angus beef burgers, as well as a veggie burger and mushroom burger option for vegetarian customers. The chain already has four locations in Nashville, including one inside the Nashville International Airport and an incoming fifth location near the Cumberland riverfront development, The Landings.
