The first Postino in Tennessee is opening on Nov. 1 in the 12South neighborhood.
The Arizona-based brand is part of the Upward Projects portfolio, a hospitality group helmed by CEO and founder Lauren Bailey.
Postino serves a vast selection of wines as well as bruschetta, soup, salad, paninis and other bites. It also offers a brunch menu featuring dishes like a focaccia stack and meatball shakshouka.
The wine cafe has other locations across Arizona, Colorado, California, Georgia, North Carolina and Texas.
“We have one job — to leave you feeling crazy good. Our formula: a chill ambiance that feels lowkey but special. A few design riffs on the beautiful, the historic, and the oddball. Some radically good wine. Shareable, super-delish food that always hits just right,” the Postino website states.
Beyond this first location for Postino in the state, Bailey already sees potential for expansion in the Nashville area. She is eyeing neighborhoods in the Nashville market, including Franklin and East Nashville, according to the Nashville Business Journal.
As of now, it is unclear when further expansions might take place.
Upward Projects has multiple brands in its portfolio, including Windsor Churn, Federal Pizza and Joyride.
