Office space in the Highland Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, at 5526 N Figueroa St., might soon be home to a new restaurant or retail tenant.

An estimated $190,000 is expected to be spent converting the building’s shell giving the aging property an exterior facelift, according to a recently-issued permit.

Industry Partners has been retained to market the space to prospective tenants, with the “potential to become prime retail space, creative office, or a high-end restaurant.”

AramPogosian, one of the commercial brokers on the deal, told What Now Los Angeles in a telephone conversation this week that a lease has not yet been secured for the would-be 2,464-square-foot restaurant or retail space.

There’s enough room to build out a 1,665-square-foot patio in the rear for a restaurant too, according to the marketing materials.

The storefront was most recently home to Bob Taylor Properties and sits adjacent Best Family Dental.
