Chopped! Champion Chef Joe Youkhan, who is a competitor in the current season of Fire Masters on Food Network, is bringing his masterful burgers to the Trade Market Place in Irvine. This will mark the second SmörBurgers location, with the original in Santa Ana.

Chef Youkhan has revolutionized the burger with an innovative, globally influenced approach that has yielded delectable results. Every burger is carefully curated by a master of flavor, spice, and the grill.

SmörBurgers will move into the Food Hall at the Trade Market Place, a bustling hub of creative restaurateurs and retailers. Among the cornucopia of delicious eats in this al fresco, pet-friendly environment are Duck Donuts, seafood eatery Portside Fish Co., and Champion’s Curry.

SmörBurgers offers an eclectic menu stacked with out-of-this-world creations including the Umami Burger (cave aged swiss cheese, house fermented black garlic bacon jam, slow roasted tomato, grilled mushrooms, and truffle aioli); the Ultimate Mac & Cheese (deep fried mac & cheese with american, provolone and smoked cheddar cheeses and applewood smoked bacon); and June’s burger of the month (drum roll, please…): the Garlic Smash, which is packed with calabria aioli, roasted garlic puree, tuscan spiced certified angus beef patties, toasted garlic San Marzano tomato sauce, and fried mozzarella on garlic herb buns. Sides include black garlic truffle parmesan fries, Peruvian pork belly fries, and loaded nacho fries.

Although an opening date has not yet been officially announced, be sure to check back here for updates. Chef Youkhan will soon serve his mouthwatering burgers and fries that are “so good you’ll want Smör!”
