Local Mexican micro-chain Tacos Super Gallito is expanding to a fifth location in Azusa, located at 962 E Alosta Ave.

The new 1,775 square-foot location, the furthest north, will move into the former home of Pieology Pizzeria, which closed down during the pandemic. Tacos Super Gallito restaurants can be found in Wilmington, Harbor City, San Pedro, and East Los Angeles, while their food trucks can be found throughout Los Angeles County, plus one truck in San Bernadino. This new location will be perfect for hungry students of Azusa Pacific University, across the street from the new restaurant.

There is no exact date as to when the company will open this new location, and word of who the owner will be is still unknown. Each Tacos Super Gallito is individually owned but not franchised. No matter who becomes the owner of this new location, it’s clear they will follow the standards of the four previous storefronts. Each Tacos Super Gallito takes pride in providing fantastic excellent service and quick turnaround times.

On top of the amazing service, all restaurants and food trucks offer authentic Mexican food from a tasty family recipe. When the restaurant opens, customers can expect burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and of course, tacos. For those who enjoy their food enough to want to bring it to their next event, Tacos Super Gallito is more than happy to bring a food truck out and cater for fundraisers, holiday parties, graduations, birthdays, quinceaneras, or any other occasion.
