The Los Angeles planning department has released an initial study listing an estimated 13-month construction timeline for 18618 Oxnard Street, where Palatine Capital Partners has plans to develop a three-story, 97,846-square-foot self-storage facility.
The proposed Tarzana development entails demolishing a small portion of an existing building at the site occupied by film school Columbia College Hollywood, remodeling its interior, and expanding the building’s footprint by 5,000 square feet. Plans also call for the construction of a three-story, 51,540-square-foot additional structure for the planned facility.
This month’s study show an expected construction timeline starting next year and finishing in 2024.
Designs for the project are being led by project architect KSP Studio, with landscape architect Emerald Design also involved. They call for a maximum height of about 44 feet.
The project would provide 23 vehicle parking spaces and space for 60 bicycles.
