Legend Hot Chicken, the chicken specialist that serves delicious Nashville hot chicken, is expanding to Glendora at 1808 E Rte 66.

The new location, the company’s 11th overall, will likely open sometime in Summer 2022, considering the 1,400 square-foot restaurant will start its lease in May 2022. The new Legend Hot Chicken will replace Zuzu Chicken in the Lone Hill Shopping Center. This is the second location coming to Southern California, with another site opening in Chino Hills at 4200 Chino Hills Pkwy Ste 315. It is unclear if this will be corporate-owned or if a franchisee will be operating this location.

Legend Hot Chicken takes pride in not being like the other fast-food chicken restaurant across Los Angeles. The company serves fresh food that is freshly made upon each order and can take up to 25-30 minutes. They also focus on fresh and high-quality ingredients, making their own batter mix and breading the chicken in each restaurant.

Like most chicken shops, their menu is simple yet exciting. The majority of their entrees include tenders, a chicken sandwich, fries, loaded mac and cheese, a hot salad, or a chicken burrito, all in different combinations, served with fries and a drink. All tenders, wings, and drumsticks can be ordered in either 5 or 10 pieces, with heat levels ranging from mild to legendary. The restaurant also offers several individual sides, including sweet potato fries, fried okra, cheese sticks, shrimp tempura, fried squid legs, fried oysters, and fried glass noodle rolls.
