A brand new restaurant called Etra is looking to make its debut in Hollywood, located at 737 N. Western Ave.

Plans are still up in the air in terms of getting everything approved, but owner Tyler Stonebreaker, the CEO of Creative Space, tells What Now Los Angeles it will be a small restaurant with a to-be-determined menu. The proposed 939 square-foot restaurant hopes to have the hours of 11:30 am to midnight daily. Additionally, the new restaurant will have a 650 square-foot patio. There will be 36 interior seats and 40 exterior seats, according to a case filing for the restaurant submitted to the City of Los Angeles.

If the Los Angeles Planning Department approves the plans, the new restaurant will move into the former home of Golden Tiger Martial Art. Other than that, further details are unknown at this point, other than the restaurant will likely serve some kind of alcohol pending approval. Stonebreaker says it’s too soon to say what kind of food he expects to serve at this restaurant or what customers can expect when they finally walk in. The Creative Space CEO is staying hopeful about this new venture but doesn’t want to get ahead of himself before plans are approved.

This will be an excellent opportunity for Stonebreaker if he can make this happen. The new restaurant will sit in between Laundrywood and Jasmine’s Design Furniture. The restaurant would move into an area known for its various eateries. The street, which splits Hollywood, Melrose Hill, and Oakwood, has a handful of restaurants but could always use more for the amount of foot traffic. Other restaurants in the area include The Paleo People, ORGANICO, Ggiata Delicatessen, Mesa Thai Cuisine, and Sunshine Restaurant.
