Oath Pizza, which started from a tiny seaside shop on Nantucket Island in 2015, is finally opening its first California locations, with three new locations coming to Los Angeles.
The exact areas of these three new restaurants are unknown. Locally based franchise partners Mandeep Singh, Garish Talwar, and Kulwant Jafal will own and operate all three locations and expect to open the first in Fall 2022. This debut comes as part of Oath Pizza’s plan to reach 40 locations in markets across the United States by the end of 2022. President and CEO Drew Kellogg said in a press release that there is a nationwide demand for more Oath Pizzas, recently opening its franchise opportunity to new partners.
“That, paired with our unique ability to meet the changing demands of consumers and franchisees, is a rare and potentially lucrative combination in the franchise industry,” Kellogg said. “Everyone loves pizza, and that’s not changing anytime soon, but increasingly, people are searching for something more wholesome — something they feel good about feeding themselves, their friends, and their families. That’s what we offer and why we, and our new partners, are so well-positioned for growth.”
The new expansion into California will be an exciting milestone for the brand. The company currently has eight locations, all on the East Coast/ Mid-West, with nine University locations, the closest being in Tempe. Now, the trio of franchise partners gets ready to bring craft pizza with a delicious crust made from real ingredients, hand-stretched, grilled, and seared in avocado oil to the golden state.
“A concept like Oath is yet to enter into California,” Singh said in the release. “It’s something that will fit in well, especially in residential areas. There is huge potential, and I’m excited to see how it goes.”
