All’antico Vinaio, the legendary Florentine sandwich shop since 1991, is expanding throughout the country with a new site coming to Los Angeles.

The legendary Italian sandwich eatery first touch down in America last year when owner Tommaso Mazzanti and restaurateur Joe Bastianich partnered to bring the delicious sandwiches to New York, near Times Square. Now, the duo is continuing the expansion with new sites coming to California, Nevada, and Canada. In Los Angeles, All’Antico Vinaio is coming to Koreatown, although the exact location has not been determined. Bastianich told Tasting Table that All’Antico Vinaio’s expansion isn’t stopping anytime soon.

“Antico Vinaio has been a smash hit,” Bastianich tells Tasting Table in an exclusive interview. “In the coming months, we will open two locations in New York City. Also, we plan to open in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Montreal.” He added that besides the sandwiches tasting amazing, he’s overjoyed to, “bring a piece of authentic Italy to America.”

Back in Italy, All’antico Vinaio is considered one of the best street food experiences in the world, using only the best ingredients to make its freshly baked bread. Tommaso currently has four shops in Florence, one inside the I Gigli Shopping Center, one in the heart of Milan, and another opening in the center of Rome. The new sandwich shop will serve Italian classics that are found at one of the original locations found in Italy. It is unknown when these new locations are expected to open.
