Sally Boy’s — a pizza concept named after the co-founder of Artichoke Basille’s Pizza, Sal Basile — is gearing up to open in Los Angeles in the near future. Per Sally Boy’s, Basile is heavily focused on his maiden operation in Red Bank, NJ, so an address and opening date for the LA location is yet to be announced.

The brand will also debut locations in Miami, Dallas, and twice more in New Jersey before launching its online marketplace that will make Basile’s “pizza experience” available across the country.

In addition to the Basile family’s famous pizza and specialty pies prepared in a handmade-in-Italy Catelli oven, Sally Boy’s offers calzones, wings, hot and cold subs, burgers, appetizers, breakfast sandwiches, and desserts like cheesecake, tiramisu, and Sfogliatelle.

What’s more, Basile has redefined the NY slice by creating the Sally Boy’s Slice, a foldable, round piece of pizza.

The Sally Boy’s project comes a decade and a half after Basile and his cousin Francis Garcia debuted Artichoke Basille’s Pizza in New York City.

Now, that same concept has locations all throughout NY, California, New Jersey, and Arizona, for a total of 18 outposts. The cousins/business partners later gained notoriety for appearing on Cooking Channel’s “Pizza Cuz” and “Pizza Master.”

Exciting updates regarding the incoming LA location are forthcoming as What Now is in contact with the Sally Boy’s team.
