Ackee Bamboo — an LA restaurant specializing in Jamaican grub — is making its way to Long Beach this May

The Carribean-centric hot spot will set up shop in the former Cafe Piccolo space at 3222 E Broadway, Long Beach, CA 90803.

While Founders Marlene Sinclair-Beckford and Delroy Beckford had hoped to launch their Long Beach sister store back in September or October of 2022, the duo is now “praying construction follows through as planned” to allow for a pre-summer debut.

Ackee Bamboo serves delicious, fresh, authentic fare like its Jerk Chicken Salad, Brown Stew Tilapia Wrap, and Jerk Beef Pastrami Sandwich, which comes smothered in a spicy Jamaican Jerk sauce.

Ackee Bamboo’s maiden operation is located at 4305 Degnan Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90008.
