L.A. Pupusa House — a Salvadoran concept helmed by chef Dina Henriquez — is moving its maiden operation from 210 North Virgil Avenue to a new outpost at 4800-4814 Melrose Avenue.

Co-Owner Marvin Henriquez tells What Now Los Angeles that the new space will be larger and allow for the menu to expand while maintaining its staples and favorites. What’s more, Henriquez says that alcohol may be available down the line.

L.A. Pupusa House currently offers “Build Your Own Pupusas” wherein customers can select from a range of toppings like shrimp, chorizo, and even squash, Crazy Pupusas like a pepperoni pizza pupusa, breakfast, desserts, drinks, and antojitos (“street” food).
