Marsatta Chocolate — a hand-crafted confection factory helmed by Chef Jeffray Gardner — is opening a new location at 1321 Post Ave in Torrance.

Currently, the “chocolate experience center” can be found at 1972 Del Amo Boulevard, also in the city of Torrance. The incoming location will occupy suite 207, a 1,481-square-foot warehouse space sandwiched between two other showrooms of greater size. It’s unclear what inspired Marsatta’s move.

Founded in 2003, Marsatta is Chef Gardner’s passion-fueled attempt at a truly different approach to chocolate. With a bean-to-bar mission in mind, Gardner strives to create the best-tasting chocolate in the world through sustainability and ethical sourcing, solely partnering with small farms and cooperatives that share Marsatta’s values.

What’s more, in an effort to never compromise taste, Gardner’s chocolates are void of artificial flavors or preservatives. The result is a pure and delicious product that’s accessible to everyone.

Customers can choose from a wide selection of well-considered confections ranging from Gourmet Bonbons — lemon, salted caramel, and mocha are a few of the delicious flavors available — to Small Batch Chocolate Bars and Signature Boxes.

[Editor’s note: an update to this article corrects the new location’s address.]
