The Cajun Crab — a Louisiana crawfish concept with Thai influences helmed by Melody Shin — seems to be on the precipice of opening another location at 520 W Lambert Road in La Habra, according to a recently filed liquor license. However, Shin did not respond to What Now Los Angeles‘ request for confirmation, and therefore additional details, including a potential opening date, are presently unknown.

Should the incoming iteration come to fruition, the eatery will open in a small strip mall that houses a discount store, a pizzeria, a barber, a smoke shop, and a few other seemingly independently owned concepts.

The Cajun Crab’s maiden operation hails from Long Beach, right off East South Street, and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, excluding Sundays. The anti-MSG restaurant offers appetizers and “special dishes” like chow mein and clam chowder; lunch specials including gumbo and protein bowls; Creole combos and steamy seafood boils; and an array of beverages ranging from milk tea to micheladas.
