Silverlake Ramen, a popular ramen franchise with locations throughout the U.S., is slated to open two new locations in NoHo and Downey. Franchise owner Young Kim helms the new stores along with his existing locations in Huntington Beach, Las Vegas, Van Nuys, La Habra and Burbank.

NoHo should be open by mid-June and Downey should be open around mid-September. Downey will also have a self-service kiosk, in addition to restaurant staff.

The menu at both sites will be the same as Silverlake Ramen’s other outposts with appetizers like gyoza, bao buns, edamame and chicken karrage; a variety of bowls like like spicy tuna, pork and Soboro; and a number of different ramen flavors like classic, garlic truffle, cajun and more.

“The Silverlake family unapologetically does our food our way. We embrace the neighborhoods that we call home and passionately share the inspirations, influences and attitudes that helped shape our authentic take on a savory dining experience,” says their website.

In addition to these new stores, Kim plans to open at least four more locations in the future.
