Turn Dough, an artisanal soft serve ice cream shop, is slated to open its third location in Downtown Santa Monica at 215 Broadway. The space was previously occupied by Interactive Cafe, a long-standing breakfast joint.

Turn Dough serves a variety of Instagram-worthy ice cream cones in their freshly made iconic chimney cake cones, made with a sweet yeast dough that is twisted around a cylinder and baked to perfection.

“Each order is…infused with only the finest ingredients. Our in-house made Vanilla Bean soft serve ice cream is made daily with the goodness of grass-fed cattle dairy milk. We take pride in offering GMO-free, gluten-free, egg-free, kosher, and halal soft serve ice cream,” says their website.

Flavors include the Unicorn (with nutella, unicorn sprinkles, and crowned with a fondant unicorn horn), Carmello Toffifay (filled with dulce de leche and adorned with Toffifay candies, graham crackers, and a drizzle of caramel and sea salt), Birthday Cake (served with a torched s’more, rainbow sprinkles, Oreo pieces, a drizzle of Raspberry sauce, and a candle on top), and more. They also serve milkshakes, gelato bowls, and French crepes.

Owner David Isachanjan, a Prague native, first opened the concept in 2017 and now has locations in Venice Beach and Hollywood Blvd.

Isachanjan confirmed that the new shop is currently working on permits and does not have a solid opening date yet.
