While a new food hall called Neighborly is getting ready to open its doors officially, the company behind it is already getting prepared to expand to new locations in Los Angeles.

Previously, What Now Los Angeles reported on this new food hall, set to open across from Paul Martin’s at The Promenade at Westlake. With Neighborly set to open its doors officially on December 19, the company has provided a few more updates on the future of this concept, including more space for additional tenants and potential new locations in Los Angeles County. Current tenants include Mini Kabob, Joan’s On Third, Gaby’s, The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills, and Social Monk.

While What Now Los Angeles reported on this concept previously, the publication failed to mention several key factors. For one, all Neighborly’s dishes are prepared within one multi-faceted kitchen and overseen by a single team of chefs. In other words, all tenants at Neighborly will be operated by one entity rather than individually. Instead, DFG Ventures, also known as Dom Food Group, will be Neighborly’s sole operator. This restaurant group is behind several well-known concepts, including goop Kitchen, Cravings by Chrissy Teigen, Tortazo by Rick Bayless, Neighborly, Tache, Vybes, Nice Day Chinese, Tablz, Stealth CPG brandLA.

Now that more information has been released, the company is preparing to look towards the future with this development and new ones. For Westlake Village, the food hall can still accommodate one or two more partners, according to Eater Los Angeles. It’s unclear who will join Neighborly, but officials hint at some big names and possibly a burger option. Once this food hall is filled, DFG Ventures will begin to look within affluent suburban or urban areas, such as Manhattan Beach and Pacific Palisades, for the next expansion of the food hall concept.
