Panini Kabob Grill, a fast-growing Mediterranean concept with locations throughout SoCal, is opening a new location in Northridge at 9301 Tampa Avenue, Site #22.
The company’s newest location appears to be moving into the former home of Mr. Beast Burger in the Northridge Fashion Center, according to a recent liquor license application. It’s unclear when this location is expected to open, but when it does, it will become the 12th location in Los Angeles County, with additional sites in San Diego, Orange, and Kern Counties, plus the Inland Empire. This is a massive accomplishment for the company, considering it launched in 1997 and now has 26 locations.
As the company continues to introduce more locations to California, a handful of sites are still expected to open in 2024, including one in Hollywood at Sunset and Vine. The company is also working on two new sites in San Diego County: one in Escondido and one across from Petco Park. With only a few more weeks left in 2024, these three locations and the newly announced Northridge site will likely open sometime next year. Also planned for next year is a new location in Las Vegas, the first in Nevada.
“With strong growth and increasing demand over the years, we’ve realized that our mouthwatering grilled chicken kabobs have become a craving that just can’t be ignored,” according to the company’s website. “Whether it’s visitors yearning for that vacation taste or students missing their go-to takeout, we’ve heard your requests for more Mediterranean goodness in a neighborhood near you. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our expanding presence across Southern California. And guess what? We’re not stopping there! Stay tuned for updates on our next location, as we continue to grow and bring PKG closer to your doorstep.”
