Alfred Coffee, a chain cafe with locations throughout Los Angeles, plus one in Austin and Kuwait City, is getting ready to open at least two new locations, one in Encino and another in Porter Ranch.
The company’s 20th Los Angeles location looks to be opening between The Gate Lounge and Fat Sal’s at 16915 Ventura Boulevard, according to signage on the building recently highlighted by local watchdogs, such as What’s New SFV. It’s unclear when this location will open, and many question the progress. Despite the recent revival of interest in this location, many fans of the brand are doubtful, saying signage has been on the building for quite some time.
While rumors continue to swirl around regarding Alfred’s Coffee coming to Encino, fans of the coffee shop will be excited to know that the company was recently announced last month by Thirty Three Group as the newest tenant coming to The Vineyards at Porter Ranch. The company has also yet to disclose a timeline for this location, and the website has yet to update its locations with either of these sites. When these two new Alfred’s Coffee locations open, customers can expect a variety of delicious coffee, matcha, tea options, and merchandise.
“It all started on Melrose Place. No, not the TV show, but a charming, little tree-lined street in the heart of Los Angeles,” according to the company’s website. “Since opening our very first coffee shop there in 2013, Alfred has built a passionate following with eye-catching cafe designs, top-notch customer service, and bar-raising, innovative drinks — most notably our World Famous Iced Vanilla Latte. With locations across the US and around the globe, our mission is clear: for every customer, brand new or fiercely loyal, to walk out of Alfred as thrilled with their visit as they are with their beverage.”
