Establishment Serving Brewed Tea, Coffee and Snacks Files Permit to Open in Northwest Shopping Center

New Tea House has filed a permit to open in a tenant space that previously housed a hair salon.

Soon there will be a new place to grab a tea or light bite when New Tea House opens at 1930 W Henderson Rd at the site of a former hair salon, according to a permit flied with the city of Columbus. New Tea House will be located in the Northwest Shopping Center, which is located in the northwest portion of the city. 

According to information in the permit, the establishment plans to have a kitchen and will serve brewed tea, coffee and snacks. As detailed in site plans viewed by What Now Columbus, there will be a kitchen, but the permit filing states that the only cooking equipment onsite will be for brewing drinks and serving snacks.

New Tea House will be just over 700 square feet and will be able to seat up to 14 guests. 

Other businesses located in the area include a thrift store, an Asian market, McDonald’s and a BiBiBop Asian Grill.
