According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, Oakland’s soul food restaurant Y’s Choice plans to open a new location.

Coming to 1825 San Pablo Avenue, the eatery will land near establishments such as Naan n Curry, Plenty, and World Famous Hotboys Chicken.

What Now San Francisco reached out to the concept’s owner, Weyanti Ahmed, to inquire about her plans for the spot, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the restaurant’s website offers a brief introduction: “Y’s Choice has a unique style of providing culinary favorites from American, Soul Food, and Sea Food cuisines. We provide nutritional, well-prepared meals while using only quality ingredients.”

“We ensure that the food we sell meets the highest standards of quality, freshness, and seasonality,” the statement continues.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
