Exciting things are coming for Mansfield diners afraid that the local fast-casual scene has exhausted every culinary option. A new location of Chicken Salad Chick, a concept that specializes in the titular dish, is coming to Tarrant County.
The unique eatery is bringing its distinctive take on southern fare to 2421 East Broad Street. Ground is set to break on the restaurant soon; paperwork filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show that work is scheduled to begin on the project on March 24, 2025. Hungry locals may be able to dig into some superior chicken salad as soon as this summer-construction is supposed to wrap on the storefront on June 26.
Once completed, the renovation will provide Chicken Salad Chick with 1,954 square feet to greet and serve customers certain to be delighted by the chain’s selection of southern favorites.
Founded in 2008 in Alabama, Chicken Salad Chick is a wholly unique concept. The restaurant truly lives up to its name, offering 13 flavors of its namesake dish. Guests can choose from an astonishing selection of chicken salads, ranging from the classic iteration to more unexpected interpretations including Jalapeno Holly and Fruity Fran.
Guests can choose to enjoy their chicken salad as a club sandwich, a melt, or a salad. While the eatery clearly skews heavily towards the aforementioned poultry favorite, there are options for the fowl-averse. Chicken Salad Chick also features a selection of vegetarian salads and a range of soups.
The chain has expanded to include more than 250 locations, fueled by its motto: “At Chicken Salad Chick, it’s all about bringing people together, one scoop at a time.”
