Punchy’s Diner To Be Rebranded as Rachel’s Place In Concord

Concord is soon to see the rebranding of Punchy's Diner. Rachel's Place will be opening in Punchy's current location on July 5th.

Concord is soon to see Punchy’s Diner evolve into Rachel’s Place at the current Punchy’s location 550 Concord Parkway N. Owner Rachel Jordan declined comment on the rebranding when contacted by What Now Charlotte on Friday.

The existing diner will be opening as “a whole new restaurant” on July 5 according to Punchy’s Facebook.

“We want to thank each and every one of you who has stepped foot into Punchy’s Diner the past 18+ years,” according to the social media post. “We would not still be here without you. We hope you continue to come out and support with our new changes.”

The restaurant will be closed from June 25 to July 4, 2023, with a reopening Reopening July 5 at 7 a.m. as Rachel’s Place.

“We will have a brand new menu for you all to try — new breakfast, brunch and lunch choices,” according to the post. “Change is hard, but necessary. We hope you come out with an open mind and heart and give us a try. Don’t forget your smile! We do appreciate all of you!”

Punchy’s is known for it’s brunch classics with a twist. The menu for the new joint is currently unknown, but will be announced come opening day. Rachel has exposed through Facebook that Rachel’s Place will have a décor change and a menu with elevated choices.

Along with the rebranding of Punchy’s, Rachel Jordan purchased Better Together Hot Dogs food cart.
