After moving to Elizabeth after the COVID-19 pandemic, The People’s Market is getting ready to open a second location in South End at 3600 South Blvd.

The company’s second location will move to Station 4 in The Station at LoSo in a 5,000 square-foot space in Spring 2024, according to Charlotte Observer. Customers can expect artisan sandwiches and wraps, pizza, salads, smash burgers, pastries, vegan bites, a full bar with craft beer, cocktails, and more. The People’s Market in South End will have on-site parking and be open seven days a week with live music on the weekends.

“We want to be a gathering spot for all people to eat, work, and play,” Duran tells the Charlotte Observer. “I believe this location will deliver on that notion, and getting to us will be easy by car, light rail, or bike. We’re excited to be part of the growing LoSo hub in the vibrant neighborhood of South End.”

Owner Cory Duran first opened The People’s Market in Dilworth before having to close because of the pandemic. Once he moved operations to 1609 Elizabeth Avenue a year ago, he vowed to expand to other neighborhoods around town. This will be the company’s first time expanding to a second location. Customers can expect the same welcoming environment and delicious food and drinks as the company’s first location.
