The owners of BAR ONE Lounge and 800° Woodfired Kitchen are getting ready to expand both brands again, with both concepts coming soon to Uptown.

Previously, What Now Charlotte reported on co-owners Steven Jensen and Kyle O’Brien expanding the brand to Mooresville and Lake Norman following a successful area debut in Phillips Place. Now it appears the duo is continuing to grow, with a new location of BAR ONE Lounge coming to the soon-to-be-renovated Packard Place office building, according to Jason Thomas. While there isn’t an exact opening date, the bar concept will sit on the ground floor right on S Church.

This isn’t the only concept coming to Uptown, as the group is also actively building out an 800° Woodfired Kitchen in Latta Arcade, located at 320 S. Tryon St., otherwise known as The Alley. There is also no exact opening date for this new location. When these concepts open, customers can expect an upscale cocktail lounge from Bar One, with delicious food options from 800° Woodfired Kitchen, such as filet mignon, woodfired salmon, and various pizza options.

Northpond Partners acquired Packard Place in 2021 and is in the process of renovating the 95,128 square feet of space to transform it into The Stuward. Last year, when the plans were revealed, they included the addition of two 7,000-square-foot patios, the installation of garage doors on the 18,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space at the property’s main building, and the addition of a lawn adjacent to the secondary, 2,100-square-foot retail building.
