Sully’s Steamers, a sandwich company that believes the world’s best sandwiches let off steam, is opening a new location in Rock Hill at 220 White Street.
The company’s second Charlotte-area location is set to move into the ground floor of The Thread, a vibrant mixed-use development, according to Visit York County. Franchise owner Ashley Monroe tells What Now Charlotte that this location is expected to open on March 31. The Thread will have an open-air courtyard, Springs Creative working space, and Roar, a new 17,000-square-foot entertainment concept.
Sully’s Steamers will serve as the area’s go-to sandwich spot. It will benefit from being located between Winthrop University and the heart of Downtown Rock Hill. The Restaurant will also benefit from being next to Phase Two of the development, which has yet to be announced. Soon, Rock Hill will have various creative sandwich options, like the “Nacho Maximus,” which features turkey, cheddar, lettuce, honey mustard, parmesan-peppercorn dressing, and Doritos.
“At Sully’s, we steam our famous bagel sandwiches until they’re hot, melty, and delicious,” according to the company’s website. “Sandwiches stuffed with fresh, flavorful ingredients that are placed in our steamer until the bagel gets warm and soft and the ingredients achieve the peak of tastiness. Now, we’re not a bagel shop. We’re a sandwich shop that just makes bagel sandwiches to order. Our sandwiches range from the classics – Phillies, Reubens, Italians – to healthier options like egg and cheese, vegan hummus, and veggies. Oh, and our specialty sandwiches are just that—special. And when we add bacon, well, you know what happens.”
