Mr. Henry Lounge & Cocktails is heading to 413 Woodburn Road in Raleigh.

Owner Matthew Bettinger told What Now Charlotte that the cocktail bar is going into a 1,000-square-foot space at the address, with a target opening in June.

Mr. Henry will be a return to the Raleigh food and beverage scene for Bettinger, who is behind two Cary spots, SideBar and Hank’s Downtown Dive. The new cocktail bar will solely focus on beverages, not food, and it will offer a menu of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The focus will be on classic cocktails, though there will be some more unique options on the menu, as well.

The spot will have 35 seats indoors with an outdoor area as well. Bettinger said to expect an ambiance-driven design with emphasis on hard woods.

“I think there’s something really special about a small bar that’s focused on what it does and creates a nice escape and ambiance, and that’s what we’re going for,” Bettinger said.

Bettinger said the team has secured permits and is currently in the construction phase.

“We’re excited to open up another great addition to the food and beverage scene in Raleigh,” Bettinger said. “We can’t wait to give people another great place to drink. We’re excited to be part of what I think will be a new wave of tenant mix in the Village District.”
