250-unit Broadstone Maple Apartments to be built from the ground up.

Alliance Residential Co. is moving forward with plans to build a new apartment complex of 250 units at Maple Drive, between Peachtree Road and East Paces Ferry.

The Phoenix-based company submitted a building permit application with City of Atlanta Monday to construct Broadstone Maple Apartments, a five-story structure for multi-family housing.

An estimated $25 million will be spent constructing the 250-unti multi-family building and the “associated space and parking.”

Alliance is responsible for Atlanta projects including 2115 Piedmont Road, a 212-unit mid-rise complex that now stands on what once was a Ramada Inn.

Alliance was not immediately available for comment.

  • the building demos began this morning. Do we know how far down east on Paces Ferry the development will go. Right now there are some lovely old homes turned commercial hate to see them go for an other “box” construction.
