Developer files plans to construct spec space for future offices.

As Jamestown Properties continues its $180 million transformation of City Hall East, the developer is taking greater strides toward its leasing efforts.

Jamestown Wednesday submitted a building permit application with City of Atlanta to build a “mock-up” office.

The 4,000-square-foot space would be located inside the Ponce City Market structure acting as a guide for future office spaces, according to the application.

An estimated $650,000 will be spent building the mock-up office at the Old Fourth Ward mixed-use development.

Athenahealth, a Massachusetts-based health tech firm, is in discussions to open offices at Ponce City Market, and could be the first major tenant for the development, the AJC reported last week.

  • Hi, Caleb. As always, thanks for getting out the latest word about all the cool stuff happening at Ponce City Market. Please note, however, that PCM is NOT located in Poncey-Highland — it’s in the Old Fourth Ward. The O4W is on the west side of the BeltLine (in NPU M) and Poncey-Highland is on the east side of the BeltLine (in NPU N).
Please check out the Facebook page for the Fourth Ward Alliance for more info about all the great things happening in the Old Fourth Ward! Thanks.
