According to recent public records, a new independent Asian establishment is coming to Gainesville.
Tamaya Sushi will soon be coming to 3102 SW 34th St, within suite C.
What Now Jax recently contacted owner Wen Zhou Qui who says that apart from sushi, Tamaya will also serve “grilled food.”
So when can locals look forward to Gaineville’s newest Japanese establishment?
“I’m in the permitting process right now,” says Qui. “I’m looking at opening in April or May.”
No exact opening date has been announced.
