According to recent reporting in JBJ, Southern Grounds’ sixth location is planned to arrive in Jacksonville Beach by early summer.
The coffee shop, bakery and restaurant is being built out at 2405 3rd St. in the Costa Verde Plaza just north of 25th Avenue South.
“So excited to have a shop in this amazing neighborhood,” Janasik posted to social media recently.
Unfamiliar readers can expect a classic coffeehouse menu of espresso and filter coffee drinks alongside a location-variable menu of breakfast (brunch, egg plates), brunch (sandwiches, pancakes), and lunch (salads, wraps) in the American cafe/diner style.
No opening date has been announced.
