Urban Wild Bowling later this year will open in Charleston’s Hood Park, according to a site plan for the development.

Urban Wild will feature 14 bowling lanes along with food and dining services, at 100-D Hood Park Drive, according to a pending liquor license transfer application filed with the City.

Urban Wild could offer indoor seating for as many as 430 people at a time, according to the application which would transfer the liquor license once used by the now-shuttered The Dogwood Cafe to the new bowling venue. Plans also call for an outdoor patio and bar with a capacity of 139 and dedicated areas for office space, kitchen, and food storage.

Ownership plans to keep Urban Wild open late, until 2 a.m., Monday through Sunday, the application outlines.

Mark Grzelak, a member of Urban Wild parent company CT Eatery LLC, told What Now Boston in a brief telephone conversation to “tune into the Urban Wild website” for details regarding the incoming concept. Grzelak declined to otherwise comment.

An exact opening timeline isn’t clear but according to the Hood Park website, Urban Wild will be “delivering in 2023.” Naco Taco is also expected to open at the development this year.
