While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, in 2015, what began as a passion project in co-owner Ryan Lavery’s basement evolved into a remarkable success story known today as Widowmaker Brewing Co. Founded by Ryan, Colin, and Bud, this craft brewery has captured the hearts of beer enthusiasts with its unique flavors and warm ambiance.

From its humble beginnings with a 7-barrel brewhouse and 35 barrels of fermentation space, the brewery now boasts a 15-barrel brewhouse and an impressive 405 barrels of fermentation space. At Widowmaker Brewing Co., the team is fun-loving, passionate beer enthusiasts who infuse their creations with love and dedication.

The production crew, located at the back of the brewery, tirelessly refines their brewing techniques, striving to bring patrons the finest beers possible. Always eager to share their knowledge and enthusiasm, the taproom team ensures that every visitor’s experience is memorable, whether they’re enjoying a drink on-site or taking some beer to go, according to the company website.

The recent permit filing for the Brighton location states that it will be spanning approximately 4,550 square feet, and is divided into three distinct spaces that cater to the diverse needs of its patrons. The first space encompasses 1,750 square feet and houses the dining room, tasting room, and a lively bar with a seating capacity of 114.
