Rassa, a new Indian eatery, is set to open its doors in Waltham at 470 Moody St. Owner Dev Patil and his two partners aim to welcome patrons sometime in May 2024. This location was previously occupied by Molti on Moody and before that, Moody’s Delicatessen and Provisions.

Specializing in South Indian cuisine, Rassa offers an upscale dining experience. The menu will feature a blend of spices from India’s coastal regions with fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from New England.

Guests can look forward to Indian delicacies such as Appams (Hopper) and Toddy flatbreads, made from fermented rice and grains. Additionally, Rassa will boast a full bar.
