A Brookline-based bakery is planning two new local locations.

According to a post within the Friends of Boston’s Hidden Restaurants Facebook group and a Daily Times Chronicle article, Tatte Bakery & Cafe is eyeing spaces in Burlington and Lexington.

The Burlington Tatte will be located at 101 Middlesex Turnpike, occupying a portion of the old Tower Records space.

Meanwhile, the Lexington locale will take over the former site of Bertucci’s Italian Restaurant at 1777 Massachusetts Ave.

Founded by home baker Tzurit Or in 2007, Tatte has grown to over 30 locations across Massachusetts and the Metro DC area. The cafe is known for its “elegant comfort food,” offering items such as croissants, quiche, soups, shakshuka, sandwiches, and salads, along with a variety of coffee and tea.

Stay tuned for grand opening date details as these projects progress.
