A New Zealand-style boutique ice cream shop will soon take over the former Jimmies Cafe space at 48 Corinth St in Roslindale.

The brainchild of Ánika and Jamila Gramsey, sweeties promises to deliver a one-of-a-kind ice cream experience. The sweeties site reveals that it will serve “delightfully social” ice cream, drawing inspiration from local treats.

They will use fresh, local ingredients to craft innovative real-fruit flavors, “unlike anything else you’ve experienced.”

Born from a passion for adding joy to everyday life, a commitment to supporting local artisans, and an “obsession” with soft-serve ice cream, sweeties aims to create a sense of community through its sweet treats.

Though the Gramsey duo is currently putting the finishing touches on the space, an exact grand opening date has not yet been announced. For the latest scoop, follow sweeties on Instagram and subscribe to the shop’s newsletter.
