A nationally recognized, Connecticut-based pizzeria is set to expand with at least two—and possibly three—new locations in Greater Boston.
According to The Boston Globe, Sally’s Apizza plans to open new sites in Dorchester and Concord. Additionally, Boston Restaurant Talk notes that another outlet could be in the works in Burlington. These developments follow the planned Sally’s Apizza location in the Seaport, which was initially set to open in 2024 but has now been postponed to 2025.
Both the Dorchester and Concord locations are also slated to open in 2025. The Concord Sally’s Apizza will be situated on Route 2, taking over the former Papa Razzi space at 768 Elm St; the Dorchester site will find its home in the South Bay complex at 8 Allstate Rd. The exact timing and location for the Burlington outlet have not yet been disclosed.
Founded in New Haven in 1938, Sally’s Apizza is renowned for its “distinctive tomato sauce and chewy, crispy crust with an iconic oven-kissed char.” The eatery currently operates four locations in Connecticut and one in Woburn, which opened last December.
